We are in this process nearly from producing the leather to the end of the product. Frankly, it is a quite tough process indeed! Though, we love our art (not looking to it as a job) and work with amateur spirit but professionally. The owner of the company, chief of the atelier and master of all craftsmen in the workshop is working personally on all products with the team. This is the proof of working with an amateur spirit. Despite the fact that we do not exist for a century like other top brands in the luxury sector, practicing our job passionately and meticulously makes us more known in a quite short time. In addition to that point, we have developed new techniques by synthesizing the various methods which are being used in shoemaking, bagmaking, leather jacked making processes. These new techniques facilitate our job when we desire to put out uncommon, unseen colors, designs, types of products. Thus, if you care for them as we do, you may enjoy them for many years to come. Before the passing over to the caring situations; it is important to be informed on that because of using genuine leather for our products, there may be some veins, wrinkles on the surface of the leather. These are not an imperfection but the proof of authenticity of the leather.
First point is; keeping away your product from some conditions such as alcohol, alcohol-containing substances, sanitizers, water, oil, prolonged humidity, direct heat, and dusty areas. Be sure that your product does not stay constantly in either too hot or too cold place. That may shorten the expected life of the product. Direct heat or cold may damage the skin and fade the dyeing of the leather. Also if the skin of leather is exposed to dust for a long time, it may harden. If you notice a stain on the surface of the product, we do not recommend the use of any chemicals, solvent, some kind of substances are being used daily at your home such soap, lotion. Some color transitions may exist if the leather product and your light colors clothes contact each other long time. Unexpected damages generally are seen whilst the user does not care for these precautions. It is also crucial to know the type of leather that has been used for your product. In this regard, we can summarize the leather types that we use for our products. These are;
- Patina and Ostrich
- Vegetable Tanned (Natural colored) Leather
- Saffiano Leather
- Natural Suede Leather (not industrial)
We use patina leather when you order hand dyed and hand effect products such as watch trunks, watch cases, watch winders, rolls, bonds, duffle bags, briefcases, wallets etc.
We generally use Vegetable tanned (Natural Colored) leather when you order watch rolls, duffle bags, wallets, and some custom orders.
